The remains of a maritime civilization lie exhausted on the ground like injured albatrosses, isolated, unaware of their surroundings. This world is to be destroyed. But what comes after the flood? Does this mean emptiness forever? Crackling of quantum fluctuations can be already heard, dancing particles appear surprisingly and multiply, a quantic renaissance...

The choreography combines modern dance with statements from quantum physics. Using light, dance, installation and live music, Renaissance tells about the victory of life over destruction and about the love between people which still warms and connects even under the worst conditions. And: Renaissance tells about the diversity of life, because of the eight ensemble members, four dance with severe disabilities.
